Lemke Employee Raising an Olympic Dreamer

Norman, Okla., – Lemke Land Surveying’s Remote Sensing Technologies Manager, Tim Young, is busy raising an Olympic hopeful. Jaeden Young, a 10-yr old, 4th grader at Monroe Elementary in Norman, OK, is using her strong problem-solving skills to climb to the top of everything.

Jaeden began climbing at the age of 6 and hasn’t slowed down. She has quickly become one of the best young climbers in the State of Oklahoma.

She recently qualified for nationals in Oregon next month, a feat that no other Oklahoma girl was able to accomplish. This qualification places her only one notch away from qualifying for the top climbing competition in the world.

Climbing will be an Olympic event for the first time in 2020. Who knows, maybe this little Oklahoma girl will someday climb for the gold.
